Jarvis released a six-minute video apologizing for his actions and explaining that he never cheated in competition. Jarvis Kaye, who is a pro Fortnite player for the esports team FaZe, revealed that he received a permanent ban by Epic Games for using an aimbot. However, the other members of Blevins’ stream that night don’t seem to fully agree with Blevins’ logic. Blevins also tried to argue that other online creators have done much worse and received less punishment. “I’m just trying to be a little realistic, okay? Saying that you shouldn’t have favoritism in a little bit with content creators is just kind of silly,” Blevins says. However, Blevins also says there should be considerations since Jarvis makes a living off of Fortnite, as opposed to casual players who don’t. 109 Images In an 11-minuted video of Ninja talking about the Faze Jarvis situation (captured by Daily Clips Central via Green Man Gaming), Blevins discusses how he doesn’t “feel bad” for Jarvis, and that he should be punished for cheating.
